Dent & Sons Ltd. in London and Toronto, and co-published in New York by E.P. Dutton and Company. Designated as Volume No. 152 in the prestigious "The Kings Treasuries of Literature" series under the general editorship of Sir A.T. Quiller-Couch, this pocket-sized hardcover features the series' iconic red cloth binding over stiff boards. The front cover features a beautiful blind-embossed profile medallion of the head of Athena, while the spine showcases intricate, ornate gold-gilded art nouveau filigree and bright gold-leaf lettering. The volume features an ornate, stylized border framework flanking a handsome portrait frontispiece of the author on the left and a detailed decorative title block on the right. Inside the front cover, the matching cream endpapers showcase the original, ornate printed frame reading "This Book Belongs To" facing a decorative quote box reading "A Good Book is the Precious Life-Blood of a Master Spirit - Milton". First published in this pocket series format in 1927, this specific October 1932 run marks the definitive early reprint run of the text.
