This elegant mid-century English bone china figurine, titled "Genevieve" (HN 1962), was designed by the celebrated Royal Doulton master sculptor Leslie Harradine and produced from 1941 to 1975. The classic piece beautifully portrays a sophisticated lady in historical attire, showcasing the exceptional hand-painted detail and brilliant high-gloss finish characteristic of the historic Staffordshire pottery. She wears a striking, voluminous deep-rose pink and red gown detailed with soft folds that catch the light, complemented by a delicate, lace-patterned white undergarment tied with a neat bow. In her hands, she holds a highly detailed, floral-decorated white muff, while her ensemble is completed by a wide, contrasting teal-blue bonnet framing her classically styled features. The bottom of the base is fully finished, bearing the official green Royal Doulton printed lion, crown, and interlocking "D" backstamp alongside the hand-written model name and series number.
