Up for sale is a Late 19th Century French Rococo Revival T. REES. Porcelain Gilded Floral/Vine Motifs Teacup and Saucer Set! The teacup measures 2 5/8” tall and 3 7/16” in diameter at the rim. The saucer measures 5 5/8” in diameter at the rim. The set is in great overall condition with minor signs of wear consistent with its age and use (scattered fading to gilding). Please message us if you have any questions. Thanks!

Exuding late 19th century elegance, this authentic Old Paris (Vieux Paris) porcelain teacup and saucer set is a classic example of French Rococo Revival decorative arts and fine European ceramic craftsmanship. Crafted from bright white, high-fired hard-paste porcelain, both pieces feature delicate, hand-gilded trailing vine, floral, and scrolled loop motifs highlighted by heavy gilt rim borders and accents along the handle. The molded porcelain bodies showcase subtle fluting and scalloped rims characteristic of mid-to-late Victorian-era French porcelain design, while the underside of the saucer retains an incised artisan registry mark beneath the glaze. Capturing the refined luxury of European table service from the 1800’s, this set makes a wonderful addition to antique porcelain collections, traditional tea displays, or curio cabinets.
