Up for sale is a Vintage 1950’s Japanese Inaba Cloisonne Company Turquoise Silver Trim Floral Motif Baluster Vase with the Original Paperwork (Showa Period)! It measures 7 1/8” tall. The piece is in great overall condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use (some damage under the rim (see pics)). Please message us if you have any questions. Thanks!

Dating to the mid 20th century Showa Era (circa 1950’s), this exquisite Japanese cloisonné enamel baluster vase is a classic representation of Asian and Oriental art, originating from the renowned Inaba Cloisonne Company of Kyoto, Japan. The vase features a stunning turquoise blue ground highlighted by silver-toned metal trim along the upper rim and base. The main body is decorated with a vibrant, large pink and white peony blossom motif rendered in traditional wire cloisonné and polychrome enamels, flanked by smaller, delicate yellow florets. A particularly desirable aspect of this piece is the inclusion of its original dual-sided Inaba factory marketing paperwork and historic production guide. Complete with its documented provenance materials, this piece stands as a compelling and authentic example of mid-century Asian decorative art.
