This authentic vintage Soviet Union officer’s visor cap cockade badge dates to the Cold War era, produced throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s for the M1969 pattern uniform dress cap. Crafted from lightweight gold-anodized stamped aluminum, it features a detailed red and white enamel five-pointed star displaying the classic hammer and sickle emblem set inside a sunburst and stylized laurel leaf wreath frame. The front face remains in great cosmetic condition with vibrant enamel and bright anodizing throughout the metalwork. The reverse side features a clear Soviet factory maker’s mark emblem stamped into the lower rim, adding extra authenticity for military collectors. It serves as an excellent display piece for a collection frame, shadowbox, or dedicated Soviet militaria showcase.
