The piece is in excellent overall condition with minor signs of wear consistent with its age and use (some scattered light surface wear/natural imperfections to glass; surface wear to lid on outside and inside rim). This fantastic vintage 4-gallon Mason Jar from Owens-Illinois Glass is a unique piece of Americana. Made in 1975 to commemorate the bicentennial of the United States, it features a patriotic bald eagle and shield motif on one side and a Mason’s Patent Nov. 30th 1858 design on the other.
